Director Ahn of Korean Educaiton Center in Washington DC visited Colin Powell Elementary School to donate more than 300 Korean books on March 29th, 2016. Those books will be utilized to enhance Two-way Korean Imersion program, especially for Math and Science classes.
Colin Powell Elementary School started Two-way Korean Imersion program for kindergarten from 2012-2013 academic year and expanded the program ever since. Currently, Colin Powell Elementary School offers Two-way Korean Imersion program from K to 3rd grade and plan to expand it to the 4th grade by next year.
