Mr. Sanghwa Park, director of Korean Education Center in Washington DC, attended the Korean education seminar held by Professor Shin Hye Young at 315 Mary Graydon Center, American University, on October 25, 2017, sponsored by the Department of World Languages and Cultures. For about 30 students of Korean language programs and international relations who attended the briefing session, Mr. Moon Kyoo Shin, Minister Counselor of Korean Embassy, explained the overall status and characteristics of education in Korea. Mr. Sanghwa Park introduced the activities of Korean Education Center in Washington DC and explainted about Global Korea Scholarhip, TaLK(Teach and Learn in Korea), TOPIK(Test of Proficiency in Korean) and other related programs, and answered some questions about the programs from the students during the question and answer session.
