Park Sanghwa, Director of KECDC, attended the 5th Annual Community-Based Heritage Language Schools Conference held at American University on October 13, 2018. He participated in the session of keynote speaker Ms. Maria Carreria of National Heritage Language Resource Center about the topic of "Engaging Students in Community-Based Schools in Project-Based Learning" and a few workshops, as well as networking activities with other participants including Professor Joy Kreeft Peyton, University of Maryland, and Marty Abbot, ACTFL Executive Director. In the panel discussion, Professor Shin Hye-young of American University participated and presented "Cooperation Activities of Korean Language Educators in USA".
