Park Sanghwa, Director of KECDC, visited Centerville High School in the evening of February 5, 2019, and observed the first class for the 2019 spring semester Korean for Educators provided by Fairfax School District (FCPS). He encouraged Ms. Patricia Yu, Korean language teacher, and about 20 teachers who attended the lecture. "Korean for Educators' lecture is sponsored by KECDC with some fund for teacher payment and program operation fees, which runs every Tuesday for 3 hours (4:45 pm to 7:45 pm) for 15 weeks from February 5. The teachers who participated in this lecture can obtain Fairfax School District's 3 credits for teacher training. They were said to have instructed Korean-American students in their classes, and some teachers liked Korean dramas and movies.
