Park Sanghwa, Director of KECDC, attended the Korean class at Kings Park Library on March 6, 2019. 14 participants applied for the Korean classes, and many of them continued to learn Korean language following the last fall semester, but there were also newly enrolled participants, such as those whose husband is scheduled to work in Korea. Ms. Ellen Chun, Korean lecturer, who took charge of this spring semester, explained that Korean lectures will be held including various multimedia instructional materials and some cultural aspects of Korea such as Taekwondo, Korean food, and Korean music.
