Shin Moon-kyu, Minister Counselor of Korean Embassy, and Park Sanghwa, Director of KECDC, met with some Korean-American school leaders of Montgomery County Public Schools at a restaurant near Rockville, Montgomery County on March 15, 2019. During the meeting, they discussed current status of school operation, career management as a principal or assistant principal, and ways to expand Korean-American teachers and school administrators. The meeting was organized by Chairman Lee Kwang-ja, who serves as the chairperson of the Korean American Education Foundation, who served as the principal at the elementary school in the Montgomery County. They shared opinions on working together to strengthen the network of Korean-American educators in the future.
