Park Sanghwa, Director of KECDC, and Hwang Joonsuk, Director of Korean Cultural Center visited Liberty Middle School in Fairfax County, Virginia, on June 4, 2019, and oberserved the Korean folk painting class supported by both centers as Befriend Korea project. The Korean Cultural Center in Washington provides nine classes of Koreaan folk painting classes for Korean language students at Liberty MS and Centreville HS, from June 3 to 6, to help them understand Korean culture more.
