Four Korean class students (Eleanor Roosevelt High School Cecillia Fenstermaker, Centreville High School Colby Munpanthavong, Fairfax Academy Jovanna Pineda, and CD Hylton High School Gustaf Arnoe) attending Visit Korea Program for Korean Class Students left for Korea on July 4, 2019. On this day, Korean language teacher Choi Kyung-mi of CD Hylton High School supported the students' departure. 21 students were selected as from the eastern United States (Washington, New York, Chicago, and Atlanta) to visit Korea from July 4 to 16. They will visit schools in Korea, and some places related to Korean history and culture in Seoul, Gyeongju, Suwon, Jeonju, and Sejong.
