We are pleased to announce the 2022 Korean Education Program for International Youth hosted by the Korean Ministry of Education and organized by the International Korean Education Foundation. We look forward to the active participation of middle and high school students studying the Korean language from around the world.

 

1.  Outline

 

 ◦ Name of the Program: 2022 Korean Education Program for International Youth
 ◦ Schedule
    - Main Program: Monday November 28th– Friday December 2nd, 2022(On-Site)
     ※ Subject to change to On-Line Programming according to Covid-19 Prevention Guidelines
     ※ Preliminary Training: Friday November 18th – Sunday November 20th, 2022(On-Line)
 ◦ Location: Hana Global Campus(Chungna, Incheon, South Korea) 
 ◦ Participants: 101 middle and high school students from 37 countries
 ◦ Award: Two participants will receive an award from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education. Two participants will receive an award from the Chairman of the National Assembly’s Education Committee.

On-Site Program           

Day 1                           Orientation (Group introductions), Korean history and culture lecture, and Cultural/Arts performance practice

- Airport greeting

Day 2

Korean Literature Presentation Contest, Specialized Korean training, Cultural/Arts performance practice, and Korean cultural experience

 

Day 3

Korean history and culture experience
(Gyeongbokgung and National Hangeul Museum)
 

Day 4

Korean Literature Presentation Contest

Awards Ceremony, K-POP Audition

 ※ Schedule is subject to change. Participants will be notified individually after selection.
 ※ Program will be conducted in Korean

Support Details

 

  - Complete airfare
     ※ If needed crew accompanying service fee
     ※ Airline tickets will be bought by the participant and airfare will be reimbursed to the guardian through wire transfer during the program.
   - Accommodations and meals
   - Traveler’s insurance
   - Examination fees incurred per COVID-19 prevention guidelines, etc.

   - Deadline:  October 24th
   - Application Documents: Application (letter of self-introduction and letter of consent of provision of personal information), copy of passport  * Written in Korean
