Director Ahn of Korean Educaiton Center in Washington DC attended Children's Storytelling, My Dream Speech, and Poem Recital contests on April 9th, 2016. Those contests were organized by WAKS, Washington Association for Korean Schools, and more than 220 Korean school students from 21 Korean schools in the area participated. Each participant took the stage and demonstrated what he or she prepared for the contest. With her opening remarks, Director Ahn encouraged participants to enjoy the moment and not to think of the outcome. Director Ahn also complemented participants on the level of their achievements sicne they were selected to represent their school.
